Nathaniel currently serves as a reader and chanter at Holy Virgin Mary Church in West Sacramento where he chants alongside his brother, Nicholas, and under his father, Very Reverend Fr. Paul Baba.

Under the influence of his father, Nathaniel grew a love and ear for church music, especially Byzantine chant. Since the early age of 3 years old, while most of his peers were singing nursery rhymes, Nathaniel was chanting the Megalynarion in the fourth mode.

During his years chanting in church alongside his brother, he developed a love for the Ison. Today he serves as the Director of Isokratima for the Sons of Antioch. Nathaniel continues daily to improve his craft for the glorification of God.
